The event I attended was marred by a late bus arrival, causing me to miss the opening act, The Outlaws, a band with 40 years of history. Blackberry Smoke, a more recent group since 2000, followed and though okay, seemed to be a strange choice after The Outlaws. Bad Company, with Paul Rodgers in top form, delivered an awesome performance. Eyes Set To Kill, my favorite band, played flawlessly and had the crowd singing along the whole time, including the rare live performance of "Curtis Loew". Despite my love for the band's second-generation albums like Vicious Cycle and Last Rebel, I wished these tracks were included in the live setlist. Alas, with so many hits to choose from, time was limited.
